How to choose a videographer in Atlanta

Use this before you book. A pretty reel is not a plan. Walk the job through every line, then bring the date, the audience, and the result to the studio.

Portfolio

  1. Watch a full piece in your category, not a 20-second cutdown.
  2. Ask what the studio personally shot, directed, edited, and graded.
  3. Look for rooms like yours: campaign, civic, conference, or brand stage.

Kit and backup

  1. Match the camera and light package to the room, not to a gear list.
  2. Ask for the backup path: a second body, a second audio recorder, a plan for a dead battery.
  3. Confirm who is on site and who is allowed to make the next call if the plan changes.

Delivery

  1. Require names, access, and versions. A link with no owner is not a delivery.
  2. Ask how long masters are kept, and in what format a colleague can publish.
  3. Put color, revisions, and usage in the scope before the shoot day.

The conversation

  1. Ask for a reference in a room like yours, and a story about a day that changed.
  2. A reliable answer includes a backup, a conversation, and a file that still landed.
  3. If the price cannot be explained in daylight, it is not a price yet.

This checklist is a field note for buyers. It is not a contract and it is not legal advice.
